Questions
What is MCP?
The Model Context Protocol is an open standard that lets AI assistants use outside tools and data. FinChiefs runs an MCP server, so an assistant you already use can look up FinChiefs research while it answers you.
Which AI tools can connect?
Tools that let you add a remote MCP server with an authorization header, such as Claude Code and Cursor. Other MCP clients work the same way: point them at the server URL and add your token as the header. One-click connectors for Claude and ChatGPT, with no token to paste, are planned.
Does it use my Ask AI credits?
No. Your own AI tool does the thinking, under its own plan. FinChiefs supplies the research data, within the limits of your FinChiefs plan.
What does the free plan include?
Summaries of the last 30 days, individual views and research from the last 7 days, up to 500 items and 30 requests a day, and one token. A paid membership adds the full research history, up to 10,000 items a day and 120 requests an hour.
