Silver: published research is uniformly bullish across every time horizon this week.
Near-term, technical analysts point to silver attempting to follow gold's breakout above its 200-day moving average, with a softer US dollar against hard assets giving it a macro tailwind. A separate strand of recent research ties the latest leg higher directly to the Treasury's informal quantitative easing signal, which compressed yields, weakened the dollar, and sparked sharp gains across precious metals.
The structural case, argued most forcefully in one recently published view, rests on physical scarcity. Above-ground silver stocks are estimated at just ~$0.7 trillion at spot, industrial demand from solar and manufacturing is surging, and ongoing currency debasement is eroding fiat purchasing power. That same research goes furthest, suggesting silver could eventually become effectively unavailable to retail buyers as sovereign and institutional demand overwhelms supply — framing the current window as one of the last chances to accumulate.
Horizons differ, but the direction of travel in the published consensus does not.
